Azzaro Couture celebrates 50 years with a tribute collection
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the Azzaro House has offered a collection of tribute to the iconic models of Loris Azzaro, which have been revisited for the occasion by Bianca Brandolini and Eugénie Niarchos and realized by the historical Ateliers of the Faubourg Saint Honoré.
This contemporary renaissance resumes to perfection the festive carefree and glamor of the 70 ‘with dresses highlighting feminine curves. Suggesting without ever revealing, the transparency and the fluids have sublimated this collection. The silhouettes always purified with dizzy necklines, embroidered, chains and fringes, animating the garment.
Light materials such as muslin, tulle, lamé were seen folded, draped, gathered, mixed with lace or organza.
The identity of the brand is also found in the color palette used favoring the sober and elegant colors associated with bright golds and silver. The black and navy blue, the gray and the powdered pink, were revitalized by an emerald green and an orange pop very 70 ‘.
The beauty of the body is suggested, sublimated by subtle details: naked shoulders, gathers emphasizing the bottom of the loins, crossed straps, slits … a homage to the feminine sensuality adored by Loris Azzaro.
This birthday collection, a true masterpiece, subtly combines the timelessness of the Azzaro style and a certain contemporaneity that meets the needs of modern women.
