Nostalgic of eighties’ glamour in Martin Grant’s new SS19 collection

Purists finally can find sunshine injected into theirs daywear.  Martin Grant presented a Spring Summer 2019 Ready-To-Wear collection.  Here he have upgraded his trademark striped cotton sundresses in the Spring line-up with a new perfectly white touch. For example,  white tuxedo in long and short version pairing a wide-leg high-waisted pants or or straight slim cut pants, crossed strap tailored jumpsuit.
Many of outfit combinations are presented in a black color, which is kind of rapture for his fans.

In this collection you can easily feel a nostalgic of eighties’ glamour.  The black silk organza with sheer stripes was similar to his first designs he produced.

Martin was very impressed by Debbie Harry and her one-shoulder tops, that’s why he tried to imitate her outfit by adding some asymmetrical layers to a little white dress or as the crossover bra top pairing a multi-layered skirt. The coral and white dresses are cut with millimetric linen and silk melange fabric.
