American 1950’s aesthetics and passion for a healthy lifestyle in the new Przhonskaya SS 2016 photo shoot SS 2016 photo shoot

Inspired by the aesthetics of women and their life in 1950s in America, by their eye-catching subtle romantic silhouettes, external fragility and inner freedom and power, we couldn’t help but love them. By learning more about their lifestyle and habits at that time, we found that they had to make great sacrifices in order to be independent and equal. These fragile creatures smoked like factory pipes, desperately trying to fight for their rights. So we decided to imagine how American women would look like in 1950s, if their bad habits could be replaced by a passion for a healthy lifestyle and care about environmental life. The heroine of our shooting is a girl in minimalist clothes with complex cut, soft folds and smooth lines. She holds fruits and plants of color as bright and lively as her clothing. Color plays an important role, symbolizing the inner core of the heroine.
