Following Biarritz, CHANEL continues its journey back to its roots, choosing Deauville as the setting for its Cruise 2027/28 show. On Tuesday 27 April 2027, Matthieu Blazy will unveil his second Cruise collection for the House.

The town on the Normandy coast holds a special place in Gabrielle Chanel’s story. It was here, in 1912, following her early success as a milliner in Paris, that she opened a boutique, introducing her first fashion pieces the following year. This pivotal moment helped shape CHANEL’s distinctive design language.

“It was in Deauville that Gabrielle Chanel introduced her first fashion pieces, marking a turning point in the history of the House. We look forward to discovering Matthieu Blazy’s perspective on this foundational place through his second Cruise collection,” said Bruno Pavlovsky, President of CHANEL Fashion Activities.

Deauville thus becomes a meeting point between the House’s heritage and Blazy’s vision: a return to the place where CHANEL style first began to take shape, setting the scene for a new chapter.
