Against the backdrop of the Rotonda della Besana, the Shenzhen Futian Fashion Event brought together Laurèl, IDPAN and YINER for a joint Spring/Summer 2027 runway show. Held as part of the collaboration with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, the event renewed the dialogue between Futian’s creative scene and the European fashion industry.
Three distinct identities shared a reflection on time and a search for balance between heritage and innovation, tailored construction and freedom of movement.
With “Layers of Time,” Laurèl combined its German roots and the precision of Bauhaus with Renaissance influences. Architectural shoulders and sharp cuts met soft silks, draping and handcrafted fringes. Cotton, linen and three-dimensional jacquards enriched the collection, while berry red and mist blue accents brightened a foundation of khaki and light brown.
Making its debut in the joint Milan show, IDPAN celebrated the value of handwork with “Tribute to Craftsmanship — MODERN SERENITY.” One-shoulder blouses, capes, broad-shouldered suits and flowing dresses formed a wardrobe inspired by Italian art and architecture. A palette ranging from ivory and camel to black complemented an interplay of fringes, draping and textured finishes.
YINER, meanwhile, explored the marks that time leaves on nature. Its “Nature Imprint” collection translated leaf veins and the layered structures of shells into prints, pleating and asymmetric silhouettes. Linen and hemp met translucent lace and metallic threads, in a palette combining sage green, heron white and sand grey with warm shades of ginger and mahogany.
Organised by the Bay Area Sustainable Fashion Alliance and Shenzhen Fumei Space Innovation Development Co., Ltd., with the support of the People’s Government of Futian District, Shenzhen, the event showcased the diversity of Shenzhen’s fashion scene while strengthening its international connections.
