For Diane von Furstenberg’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, Henry Zankov revisits one of the founder’s most enduring principles: fashion as an expression of the body and personality. Clothes move, reveal and communicate, accompanying a confident, instinctive woman who chooses to seduce on her own terms.

The collection introduces a fluid and versatile wardrobe designed for a woman who is always in motion. Long, lean silhouettes encourage effortless mixing and matching, while jersey, chiffon, bias-cut silk and deconstructed tailoring come together through bold colour blocking, draping and scarf-inspired details.

The body is wrapped, revealed and reinterpreted with natural ease. Nothing is overtly displayed: skin appears in the turn of a shoulder or the soft fall of a neckline. Seduction emerges through gesture, movement and body language, free from convention.

The DVF archive also takes centre stage, with the House’s iconic animal prints and heritage codes reimagined through fresh, contemporary silhouettes.

It is the portrait of a rebellious yet effortlessly elegant woman who moves through life with joy and chooses to follow her instincts. A celebration of women who live on their own terms: naturally, confidently and freely.
