Miu Miu revisits its archives with the launch of the new Bubble Shoes, a contemporary reinterpretation of a model originally created in the early 2000s, during an era when sportswear-inspired aesthetics began to play a central role in fashion.
Soft, lightweight and deconstructed, the shoe features a refined upper meticulously crafted from leather and suede and lightly padded to combine comfort with sophistication. The design is completed by the instantly recognisable Miu Miu signature and ribbed technical cotton laces, finished with tips dipped in contrasting varnish.
Among the most precious versions is a technical nylon model embellished with jewelled embroidery, first presented on the Paris runway as part of the Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2026 collection.

The iconic Bubble sole has also been reimagined through innovative technologies that reduce its weight. Fluid lines, a layered construction and the interplay between transparent and covered surfaces give the shoe a dynamic and nuanced appearance.
The Bubble Shoes embody a balance between form and function, sophistication and ease. Experimental, eclectic and irreverent, they reflect the contrasts at the heart of Miu Miu’s identity, bringing together the minimalism of the brand’s early years with precise, sophisticated craftsmanship firmly rooted in the present.
