The Maison entrusts photographer Nathaniel Goldberg with the visual narrative of the new collection, interpreted by Argentine artist and designer Conie Vallese.

Buccellati opens a new chapter in its history with the launch of its first advertising campaign devoted entirely to High Jewellery. At its heart is “Serenissima,” a collection that pays tribute to the timeless allure of Venice and the extraordinary richness of its artistic heritage.

Launching globally in July, the visual story is captured by renowned photographer Nathaniel Goldberg, who turns to the intensity of black-and-white portraiture to emphasise the jewellery’s lightness, transparency and intricate craftsmanship. The collection is worn by Conie Vallese, the Argentine artist and designer whose multidisciplinary sensibility embodies the Maison’s vision of a contemporary, instinctive and profoundly creative femininity.

Within Goldberg’s essential yet sophisticated portraits, jewellery is no longer presented as a mere ornament. Instead, it becomes part of an intimate dialogue between gesture, material and personality. Vallese’s contemplative presence accompanies the Buccellati creations without overshadowing them, portraying a woman who expresses herself freely through art, beauty and her own individual language.

Inspired by the lagoon city, the “Serenissima” collection translates the delicate beauty of Burano lace into gold. Precious surfaces are meticulously worked until they resemble light, almost weightless patterns, created through the Renaissance engraving techniques that have long defined Buccellati’s distinctive style, including Modellato, colpi di lucido and Rigato.

Each creation evokes a fragment of the Venetian imagination: the shimmer of the water, the elegance of historic palaces, the precision of traditional craftsmanship and the fragile refinement of lace. The result is a vision of High Jewellery that balances monumentality with lightness, historical memory with contemporary sensitivity.

With this campaign, Buccellati reaffirms its understanding of jewellery as a wearable work of art, born from a centuries-old tradition that continues to evolve through new interpreters and visual languages. “Serenissima” is not only a tribute to Venice, but also a celebration of enduring beauty, transforming precious material into timeless emotion.
