Some journeys are measured in miles, while others are defined by the transformations they inspire. This reflection lies at the heart of “Passage Privé”, the new Fall/Winter 2026 Couture collection by Saiid Kobeisy.
The collection unfolds as a fashion narrative centred on the idea of passage: from one place to another, from one era to the next, and above all, from one perception of the self to a renewed sense of identity. Each silhouette becomes a stage in an intimate journey, in which couture takes on the meaning of experience, memory and discovery.
For the collection, Saiid Kobeisy looks to the elegance and cultural richness of the early twentieth century, a period distinguished by exceptional craftsmanship, artistic exchange and a timeless vision of sophistication.
“With Passage Privé, I wanted to capture the spirit of a remarkable era while exploring the idea that every journey transforms the way we see ourselves. Couture becomes a narrative of movement, discovery and quiet elegance,” explains the designer.

The colour palette enhances this suspended, evocative atmosphere through shades of ecru, off-white, soft pink, pale green, bronze and delicate blue. Velvet emerges as the collection’s signature fabric, accompanied by double satin, crepe georgette, metallic French lace, fur and feathers. Each material has been selected to evoke the romance, richness and refinement of the period.
The creations reveal themselves through meticulously crafted details and cinematic references. Passementerie traces decorative pathways across the garments, while the trench coat is elevated into a couture statement without losing the rigour of classic tailoring. Kimono sleeves introduce a sense of lightness and movement, symbolically recalling travel and the meeting of different cultures.
The collection’s visual language is further defined by linear motifs inspired by Art Deco, with their striking geometry, alongside pixelated embroidery conceived as fragments of memories and fleeting impressions. Together, these elements create an ongoing dialogue between artisanal heritage and contemporary sensibility.
The silhouettes move between architectural precision and fluid draping, while embellishment gradually shifts from restraint to abundance. It is a visual rhythm that follows the stages of a journey: anticipation, departure, discovery and, finally, revelation.
With “Passage Privé”, Saiid Kobeisy interprets couture as an immersive narrative space. Every gown becomes a place to enter, every detail the trace of a story that continues long after the final look.
