The winery, located in Contrada Santo Spirito, is expanding its hospitality offering from July with experiences designed to let guests discover the volcano in an authentic, elegant and immersive way.
Through wine tastings, food pairings, moments of relaxation among the vineyards and tailor-made excursions to discover the Muntagna, Palmento Costanzo invites guests to spend an entire day in the heart of the Etna landscape. An all-day experience that expresses the winery’s “Rigorosamente Etna” essence through its wines, its flavours and the scenic power of a truly unique territory.
At the heart of the proposal is the villa among the vineyards: an intimate, peaceful place conceived as a summer refuge where guests can take a break from the noise, admire the volcanic panoramas and be guided by a refined and personal sense of hospitality.
The tasting thus becomes part of a broader journey, bringing together Palmento Costanzo’s iconic labels and crus, each expressing the character of the different contrade and their mineral identity. To accompany the wines, a dedicated gastronomic proposal has been created around local products, designed to enhance the character of each bottle.
In the afternoon, when time seems to pause and summer invites stillness, the experience continues in the shade of the great chestnut tree with a fresh and deeply Sicilian moment: granita, to be enjoyed in the silence of the vineyards.
For those wishing to go beyond the winery, Palmento Costanzo also offers guided and personalised tours to discover some of the most evocative landscapes of the area. From routes along the slopes of the volcano, reaching altitudes close to 2,700 metres, to itineraries leading to the volcanic caldera and the striking Bottoniera, each excursion becomes a visual narrative of nature’s power. Among the alternatives are also the Alcantara Gorges, with their basalt walls and routes ideal for trekking, including river trekking.
