With The Odyssey, set for release on July 17, 2026, Christopher Nolan brings Homer back to the centre of the cinematic imagination. The film was also shot in Sicily, between Favignana and the Aeolian Islands: ideal settings for a Mediterranean made of open seas, sudden landfalls and islands that still seem to guard something mythological.
