To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Louis Vuitton for UNICEF partnership, the Maison has launched a charity auction dedicated to the Louis Vuitton Unity Time Object, a unique creation that brings together horology, design and artisanal craftsmanship.

The launch was marked by an exclusive dinner at Sotheby’s headquarters in New York, hosted by Brahm Watcher, Sotheby’s Head of Modern Collectibles, Kitty Van Der Heijden, UNICEF’s Deputy Executive Director Partnership, and Jean Arnault, Watch Director at Louis Vuitton. Among the guests were Dame Pat McGrath, Erin Walsh, Lauren Santo Domingo, Leandra Medine and Derek Blasberg.

Created especially for the anniversary, the Louis Vuitton Unity Time Object is a collector’s piece inspired by the world of football. Its openwork structure, composed of interlocking hexagons and pentagons, reinterprets the geometry of a soccer ball, while a bespoke mechanical movement is revealed through its skeletonized construction.

The object is the result of a collaboration between La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, L’Épée 1839 and the House’s trunk-making ateliers. It is presented inside a handcrafted trunk made in Louis Vuitton’s historic workshops in Asnières-sur-Seine, embodying the dialogue between two defining pillars of the Maison: the art of travel and watchmaking savoir-faire.

All proceeds from the auction will be donated to UNICEF, supporting its programmes for vulnerable children around the world. The initiative further reinforces Louis Vuitton’s long-standing commitment to the organisation, a partnership that began in 2016.

The Louis Vuitton Unity Time Object has been available through an online auction since June 9, alongside other pieces connected to the initiative, including Monogram Louis Vuitton soccer balls signed by personalities and dedicated copies of the REBONDS 2026 book. The piece is also on public display at Sotheby’s New York from June 11 to 18, with the online auction closing on June 18 at 2:00 PM ET.
