On 7 June 2026, the Golf Club de Genève hosted the thirteenth edition of the F.P.Journe Golf Cup, an event that over the years has established itself as one of the most anticipated fixtures of Geneva’s early summer season.

For this new edition, 156 players competed in the Greensome Stableford format, giving life to a day where sporting competition, a passion for golf and a spirit of conviviality came together in a setting of refined elegance.

Founded in 1922, the Golf Club de Genève is one of Switzerland’s most historic golf clubs. Its 18-hole course extends over 47 hectares, with privileged views of Lake Geneva and the Alps. Designed in 1973 by Robert Trent Jones Senior, one of the most renowned architects in the sport, the course alternates open fairways, protected greens and strategically placed bunkers. The club is also GEO Certified, an international recognition awarded for sustainable environmental management in golf.

Players came from several European countries and from destinations even further afield. Alongside club members, a number of collectors also took part, confirming the event’s appeal well beyond Geneva.

At the turn, guests enjoyed a gastronomic interlude by Chef Dominique Gauthier, who presented one of the dishes from F.P.Journe Le Restaurant: Brittany lobster with broad beans and peas, morels and shellfish jus.

The day concluded with a cocktail reception for all participants, followed by the prize-giving ceremony led by François-Paul Journe. A fitting finale to an event defined by discretion, elegance and a deep connection to the world of F.P.Journe.
