Bvlgari’s summer comes in the colour of light. The Roman Maison unveils two new interpretations of the Bvlgari Aluminium, the watch that, since 1998, has redefined the codes of luxury sport-chic through an unexpected encounter between technical materials, iconic design and contemporary ease.
The collection now welcomes two versions conceived for the summer season: one monochrome, defined by a bold, luminous white, and a more vibrant edition featuring a blue sunray dial, limited to 500 pieces. Two different interpretations, united by the same idea of elegance: free, light and immediate.
The Bvlgari Aluminium is built around a sophisticated dialogue between aluminium and rubber, materials rarely associated with traditional luxury watchmaking, yet perfectly aligned with the Maison’s iconoclastic vision. The rubber bezel, engraved with the double logo, recalls the historic Bvlgari Bvlgari signature, inspired by ancient Roman coins and the Latin inscriptions found on classical monuments.
In the new white version, the 40 mm brushed aluminium and titanium case meets an opaline lacquered dial, rhodium-plated indexes and hands, and a white rubber strap. The result is a watch that feels essential yet assertive, sporty in spirit and refined in attitude.
The second version introduces a more dynamic accent: the blue sunray dial creates a vivid contrast with the white case and strap, while luminescent blue indexes and hands ensure both readability and character. A red detail on the seconds hand adds a sharp, graphic note to the composition.
Both versions are powered by the automatic B77 calibre, displaying hours, minutes, seconds and date, with a 42-hour power reserve. Water-resistant to 100 metres, the new Bvlgari Aluminium confirms its identity as a watch designed to move through everyday life with the ease of a sports accessory and the precision of Swiss watchmaking.
More than a summer timepiece, the Bvlgari Aluminium expresses a very contemporary idea of luxury: less formal, more instinctive, able to move effortlessly between the city, travel and leisure. A luxury that does not need to overstate itself, because its most recognisable language lies in material, line and detail.
