The French Maison strengthens its environmental commitment with the Sustainability Fashion Leadership Programme, developed in collaboration with the Institut Français de la Mode to support Dior teams through the sustainable transformations shaping contemporary luxury.

At a time when sustainability is no longer a secondary concern, but one of the defining cultural and industrial challenges of fashion, Dior has announced a new internal training initiative: the Sustainability Fashion Leadership Programme, created in partnership with the Institut Français de la Mode, one of the most influential institutions in international fashion and luxury education.
Presented in Paris, the programme has a clear ambition: to provide Dior talents with concrete tools to understand and respond to the sustainable transformations redefining the future of the industry. More than a theoretical course, it is designed to translate Dior’s environmental vision into everyday action across the different departments of the House.

A Shared Learning Path for Dior Teams
The new programme will offer conferences and dedicated content accessible to Dior employees worldwide, focusing on the key principles of sustainability applied to fashion and luxury. The aim is to involve every professional profile, regardless of role or position, so that each individual can contribute consciously to the Maison’s transformation.
The initiative builds on a broader journey already undertaken by Dior through awareness-raising projects such as L’Atelier des possibles, an eco-conscious travelling exhibition that has engaged more than 1,000 employees in Paris, Shanghai and New York, as well as dedicated training courses on climate issues, eco-design and regenerative agriculture.
A Certified Programme for Key Talents
Alongside the training available to all employees, the Sustainability Fashion Leadership Programme also includes a one-year certified course for a first cohort of 23 talents from more than 15 internal departments.

The composition of the group reflects the cross-functional nature of sustainability itself: logistics, operations, the studio, digital, finance, legal, compliance, merchandising and supply chain will work together to foster new synergies and innovative solutions.
Structured around four modules totalling 80 hours of training, the programme will explore some of the most pressing issues for the future of luxury: regulations, responsible sourcing and manufacturing, traceability, biodiversity, eco-design, circularity, climate and sustainable performance.
From Training to Action
One of the most relevant aspects of the project is its practical orientation. The programme will conclude with dedicated coaching sessions designed to support the development of concrete projects within the Maison, turning learning into tangible and measurable initiatives.
Through this alliance between Dior and IFM, sustainability becomes not only a strategic direction, but a shared competence capable of crossing every function of the company. It is a way to train a new generation of luxury professionals: more aware, better prepared and ready to imagine a fashion industry where creativity, savoir-faire and responsibility can finally move forward together.
