CHANEL Métiers d’art 2026 campaign by Matthieu Blazy

Since 2002, the CHANEL Métiers d’art collections have stood as one of the House’s most emblematic annual appointments, a tribute to the artisans and exceptional savoir-faire that continue to shape the CHANEL universe.

With his first Métiers d’art collection for CHANEL, Matthieu Blazy envisions a world in constant motion, where eclectic personalities collide through urban energy, cinematic references, and exceptional craftsmanship. Shot in New York by Craig McDean and filmed by Rahim Fortune, the Métiers d’art 2026 campaign portrays real and imaginary CHANEL women through a striking contemporary lens.

Spanning decades and identities, from the 1920s to the 2020s, the collection combines elevated essentials with couture-inspired details: refined knitwear, denim, hand-painted skirts, floor-length gowns, and a renewed interpretation of the iconic CHANEL suit. Signature House codes, including two-tone shoes, pearls, and camellias, are reimagined with a freer, more dynamic spirit.

Movement lies at the core of Blazy’s vision. Wrap skirts, fluid trousers, and supple leather bags accompany silhouettes inspired by students, socialites, working girls, and almost superhero-like figures. Accessories introduce a playful narrative dimension through leopard-print headpieces, animal-inspired brooches, and unexpected styling details.

The collection also highlights the savoir-faire of the Maisons d’art housed within le19M, the creative hub founded by CHANEL in Paris in 2021. Embroideries, tweeds, and artisanal embellishments crafted by Lesage, Massaro, Goossens, Lemarié, Atelier Montex, and Maison Michel become central elements of a collection celebrating the excellence of French craftsmanship.
