JW Anderson unveils its first collaboration with Diadora, the historic Italian sportswear and footwear brand, reimagining one of its archive icons: the Equipe trainer, originally created in 1975 for elite athletes.
Nearly fifty years after its debut, the silhouette returns with a new attitude, translated through Jonathan Anderson’s creative vision. The shoe keeps its performance-driven DNA while introducing a bold, contemporary colour palette personally selected by the designer.

The collaboration focuses on a single unisex sneaker, released in four striking shades: Green Night, Navy Peony, Empire Red and Princess Blue. Functional yet refined, the model is finished with branded components and laces, balancing sports heritage with elevated design.
Rooted in the footwear tradition of Montebelluna, Italy’s renowned shoemaking district, the sneaker features a tapered line, swallowtail toe and a sole that wraps around the heel. The result is a design that feels technical, modern and timeless.
Presented in JW Anderson’s AW26 lookbook, the collaboration is accompanied by a dynamic campaign starring actor Conor Sánchez, photographed by Sammy Khoury.
The limited-edition collection is available from 15 May 2026 on jwanderson.com, diadora.com, at JW Anderson stores in London, Milan and Tokyo, and at Nordstrom.
