For the Dior Cruise 2027 Collection, the first designed by Jonathan Anderson for Dior, the House unveiled a beauty direction defined by light, freshness and effortless sophistication. Presented in Los Angeles, outside the new wing of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the show featured makeup looks created by Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup.

Inspired by a cinematic 1950s atmosphere, Philips imagined a luminous and natural beauty look for both women and men. The result was a refined balance between glowing skin, subtle definition and delicate touches of radiance.
For the women’s looks, the complexion was kept pure, even and luminous. Skin was carefully prepared with the Dior Capture routine, then perfected with a glowing base and light touches of colour on the cheekbones. The eyes appeared naturally wide open, softly emphasized with brown tones along the lash line and nude shades on the eyelids. On selected models, a fine line of crystals placed near the lashes added a precious, unexpected detail.

Lips remained fresh and natural, enhanced with a soft pink finish. Nails became a key beauty statement, alternating between a natural manicure, Dior’s iconic “newspaper” motif and a tortoiseshell effect designed to echo the accessories seen on the runway.
For the men, the grooming followed the same vision: an even, luminous complexion, neatly styled brows and well-cared-for hands. Hair was left natural and slightly tousled, reinforcing a cool yet sophisticated attitude.

With Cruise 2027, Dior Beauty embraces a modern idea of elegance: beauty that enhances rather than transforms. A makeup language built on light, freshness and carefully measured details, perfectly reflecting the spirit of the new Dior vision.
