Buccellati strengthens its bond with heritage, craftsmanship and personal memory through “Share Your Memories”, a project created to collect and preserve the stories connected to the Maison’s creations.
The initiative invites long-time clients and admirers to share not only their Buccellati jewels, but also the emotions, memories and meaningful moments these pieces have witnessed over time.
The new chapter of the project features Guido Taroni, the Milan-born photographer known for his refined aesthetic, chromatic harmony and elegant simplicity. The collaboration began with in-depth research in the Buccellati archives, leading to the rediscovery of unique creations once owned by Countess Carla Erba Visconti. Her family acquired several masterpieces by Mario Buccellati between the 1920s and 1940s, turning these jewels into precious links between the Visconti family and the Maison.
Through six evocative photographs taken by Taroni inside Villa Erba Antica in Cernobbio, the jewels return to the spaces that preserve their atmosphere and memory. Placed among period furnishings, historic portraits and intimate corners of the house, the creations become silent witnesses of timeless elegance and personal history.
Among the highlighted pieces are an elongated silver brooch with sapphires and diamonds, a flexible silver and yellow gold bracelet with pink cabochon sapphires, pendant earrings with antique-cut and rose-cut diamonds, button earrings with pink sapphires and diamonds, and an evening bag in beige silk with a silver clasp and moonstone cabochon.
Designed by Mario Buccellati and handcrafted in the 1920s, these creations embody the Maison’s unmistakable artistry and enduring Italian excellence.
With “Share Your Memories”, Buccellati reaffirms its role as a custodian of beauty, craftsmanship and stories that transcend time. More than precious ornaments, its jewels become vessels of emotion, memory and heritage, capable of preserving the essence of unforgettable moments for future generations.
