For Milan Design Week 2026, Louis Vuitton unveils a new chapter in its design universe at Palazzo Serbelloni, presenting its latest Objets Nomades collection alongside the Maison’s iconic trunks and a major tribute to Pierre Legrain, one of the defining figures of Art Deco and a historic Louis Vuitton collaborator.

At the center of the presentation is the Collection Hommage Pierre Legrain, a contemporary reinterpretation of the French designer’s legacy through furniture, textiles, decorative objects and pieces inspired by his most distinctive graphic motifs. Among the highlights is the re-edition of the coiffeuse created in 1921 for Louis Vuitton, considered the Maison’s first true furniture piece.

The Milan showcase expands the narrative beyond historical homage. In the courtyard of Palazzo Serbelloni, an installation created in collaboration with the Brera Academy of Fine Arts transforms one of Legrain’s celebrated illustrations into a three-dimensional set design. Throughout the week, the space will host talks, conversations, a dedicated bookshop and live painting demonstrations.

Alongside its Deco roots, Louis Vuitton also reinforces its experimental approach to contemporary design. The exhibition includes new works by Estudio Campana, Raw-Edges and Franck Genser, weaving together heritage, savoir-faire and innovation. Among the standout pieces are the new Cocoon Dichroic, Estudio Campana’s aquamarine foosball table and the Aqua table, whose construction details subtly echo the Maison’s iconic Speedy bag.

The project is part of a broader evolution. Since 2012, Objets Nomades has embodied Louis Vuitton’s creative laboratory for collectible design, and since 2025 the Maison has expanded its home universe to include furniture, lighting, textiles, tableware and decorative objects, shaping an increasingly complete vision of Art de Vivre.

In Milan, that vision unfolds through an immersive exhibition route that moves between Art Deco references, archival pieces and new home collections, extending all the way to the Via Montenapoleone store, where a special scenography highlights some of the Maison’s most exceptional trunks.
