The Godfather II by Jacob & Co. is a high-end musical watch inspired by the iconic film series. This limited edition timepiece (74 pieces) pays tribute to The Godfather Part II and features a unique complication: it can play two melodies from the original soundtrack—The Godfather’s Waltz and The Godfather Love Theme.
The watch introduces a newly designed rectangular, curved case with Art Deco influences, improving both ergonomics and sound projection. At its core is the JCAM62 manual movement, which integrates a flying tourbillon and a sophisticated music box mechanism. A selector allows the wearer to choose between the two melodies, each lasting about 15–20 seconds and playable up to ten times per wind.
Aesthetically, the timepiece reflects cinematic elements from the film: a black lacquer dial, engraved bullet holes, and a detailed portrait of Don Corleone. The design also includes symbolic details like a rose motif and puppet strings, reinforcing its connection to the movie’s themes.

Technically, the watch features dual power reserves—one for the movement (72 hours) and one for the music box. The music mechanism operates through a comb and cylinder system, where tiny pins trigger different notes.
Beyond its mechanics, the watch carries personal significance for founder Jacob Arabo, who cites The Godfather as a defining experience in his early life as an immigrant. This emotional connection shapes the identity of the piece, blending storytelling, craftsmanship, and innovation.

Overall, The Godfather II represents an evolution of the brand’s earlier Opera Godfather models, offering a more compact, technically refined, and emotionally meaningful interpretation of a musical timepiece.
