The Fondation d’entreprise Hermès has opened applications for the eighth edition of its Skills Academy, set to take place in 2027 and dedicated to leather. Applications are open from April 1 to June 28, 2026.
Led by designer François Azambourg, the eleven-month program (January–November) will bring together artisans, designers, and engineers to explore innovation in craft and material expertise.
Combining expert-led talks, site visits, and collaborative workshops, the Academy acts as a laboratory for experimentation, encouraging knowledge exchange and the development of sustainable practices.
Through this initiative, the Foundation reinforces its commitment to bridging design and craftsmanship, fostering collaboration, innovation, and local impact to shape the skills of the future.
