Prada launches its Re-Nylon 2026 campaign, a project that combines fashion, storytelling and environmental commitment, with actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Letitia Wright at its center. The campaign highlights the ocean as both subject and symbol, in connection with SEA BEYOND, Prada Group’s initiative dedicated to ocean preservation through education.
At the core of the campaign are two documentaries created with National Geographic CreativeWorks, following the protagonists across locations including Hawaii and Japan. Here, the ocean becomes a narrative force, reflecting the impact of human actions on marine ecosystems.
Alongside the campaign, the first film starring Cumberbatch takes viewers to Japan’s Izu Peninsula, where he meets scientists and educators working to inspire younger generations to protect the sea.
Launched in 2019, the Re-Nylon collection is made from regenerated nylon derived from recycled plastic waste, embodying Prada’s ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability. An estimated 1% of proceeds supports SEA BEYOND’s educational programs worldwide.
