Six Senses London has officially opened its doors in Bayswater, marking the brand’s debut in the UK with a concept that reimagines urban hospitality. Set within the restored Whiteley building, just moments from Hyde Park and Notting Hill, the hotel introduces a slower, more mindful rhythm to the city.

The property features 109 rooms and suites, many with private terraces, blending contemporary design with Art Deco heritage. Designed by AvroKO in collaboration with EPR Architects, the interiors preserve the building’s historic character while introducing natural materials, rich green tones, and fluid, light-filled spaces. At its heart, a restored grand staircase rises beneath a striking glass dome, anchoring the hotel’s architectural identity.

A Holistic Approach to Wellness

Central to the experience is Six Senses Spa London, spanning 2,300 square metres. Facilities include London’s first hotel magnesium pool, a 20-metre indoor pool, fitness spaces, and dedicated yoga studios.

The wellness offering extends to advanced treatments such as cryotherapy, flotation, and red-light therapy, alongside a biohacking lounge focused on recovery and performance. In partnership with HUM2N, the hotel also provides diagnostics, IV therapy, and personalised longevity programmes.

Seasonal Dining with a British Twist

Six Senses London Opens at The Whiteley

Dining follows the “Eat With Six Senses” philosophy, celebrating seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. At Whiteley’s Kitchen, menus are vegetable-forward and rooted in traditional techniques such as fermentation and fire cooking, reinterpreted with a contemporary British approach.

The bar complements the experience with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, crafted with a focus on purity and in-house preparations.

Community, Sustainability, and a New Urban Energy

The hotel also introduces the world’s first Six Senses Place, a members’ club designed for connection, self-development, and shared experiences aligned with seasonal rhythms. Sustainability remains a core focus, with no single-use plastics, rainwater harvesting systems, and over 1,150 square metres of green roofs supporting biodiversity. The project is part of the wider regeneration of Queensway, contributing to the area’s revival with new jobs and community initiatives.

With this opening, Six Senses London joins the brand’s growing global portfolio, offering a new kind of luxury—one that prioritises wellbeing, sustainability, and meaningful connection in the heart of the city.
