Piaget renews one of its most iconic and feminine symbols. For Spring 2026, the Maison unveils two new interpretations of the Limelight Gala, a jewellery watch that continues to embody the bold and sophisticated spirit that has defined its success since its debut in the 1970s.

Since its creation in 1973, the Limelight Gala has been conceived as a timepiece capable of merging watchmaking and high jewellery, becoming a style emblem for a cosmopolitan generation of artists, celebrities and influential personalities. Designed by Jean-Claude Gueit and presented in the refined setting of the Gstaad Palace, the model stood out for its sensual lines, asymmetrical diamond-set lugs and a fluid bracelet, designed to wrap around the wrist like a couture jewel.
The magnetic allure of colour and texture
The new season introduces two versions that explore the relationship between light, texture and colour, reaffirming the Maison’s artistic vocation. The first interpretation stands out with its intense orange Grand Feu enamel dial, crafted on engraved gold using a technique that evokes the texture of snake skin. The result is a vibrant, three-dimensional surface, framed by diamonds and enhanced with spessartite garnets that create a refined chromatic gradient along the case and bracelet. The effect is dynamic and captivating, designed to attract attention with contemporary elegance.
The second version celebrates one of Piaget’s most distinctive signatures: the Decor Palace engraving. Developed in the 1960s, this motif animates the rose gold dial and bracelet with an irregular, luminous texture, enhanced by cognac-coloured diamonds. Each engraving is executed by hand, making every piece unique and transforming gold into an expressive surface that plays with light and movement.

An icon that transcends time
The Limelight Gala was originally conceived as an evening watch, designed to accompany its wearer effortlessly from cocktails to gala events. Over time, it has evolved into a versatile creation capable of adapting to contemporary sensibilities without losing its identity. The meticulously articulated bracelet is designed to offer a tactile sensation similar to that of a precious fabric, reflecting the Maison’s exceptional craftsmanship. Over the decades, the model has been reinterpreted with increasingly sophisticated materials and techniques, while preserving its distinctive aesthetic of fluid lines, flowing diamonds and strong artistic expression.

The expression of Piaget’s “Extraleganza”
With these new creations, Piaget reaffirms its ability to reinvent the codes of the jewellery watch, combining technical innovation with artisanal savoir-faire. The new Limelight Gala models celebrate gold, colour and light, in perfect harmony with the Maison’s philosophy, which for over a century has transformed time into an aesthetic experience.
