Milan is once again preparing to become the world capital of style with the Women’s Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026–2027, scheduled from February 24 to March 2, 2026. This edition features 184 events including runway shows, presentations and special happenings, reaffirming the city’s role as an international platform for contemporary creativity.

Among the most anticipated highlights are major creative director debuts: Maria Grazia Chiuri will lead Fendi’s vision, while Meryll Rogge takes the helm at Marni. There is also strong anticipation for Demna’s first show for Gucci and for Emporio Armani’s new format presenting a combined women’s and men’s collection under Silvana Armani and Leo Dell’Orco.

New Brands and Returning Names
The official calendar introduces first-time participants such as Casa Preti, Florania, Simon Cracker and Tell The Truth, while brands including Act N°1, Fila and GCDS return to the runway—GCDS also celebrates its tenth anniversary with a special event.

Spotlight on Emerging Talent
At the heart of the week is the Fashion Hub curated by Sara Sozzani Maino at Palazzo Morando, an open-to-the-public space dedicated to new generations of designers. Projects such as Future Threads: Italy’s New Wave and New Gen, New Ethos highlight craftsmanship, sustainability and innovation, alongside the installation “NOT FOR FREE,” which reflects on female empowerment and social responsibility.

Meanwhile, the “Next On Air” initiative curated with Rinascente Milano showcases selected independent international brands, reinforcing the event’s commitment to supporting global emerging creatives.

Fashion Meets the Olympics
This edition is closely linked to the upcoming Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. The official campaign imagery incorporates winter sports elements and Alpine landscapes, symbolically merging fashion and sport while strengthening Milan’s identity as a crossroads of culture, innovation and international vision.

A More Digital and Global Fashion Week
The event continues to expand its global reach through digital innovation: the official platform will stream shows and host virtual showrooms, while partnerships with international media and streaming platforms ensure worldwide coverage.

The Future of Fashion Runs Through Milan
According to the president of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, this edition reflects a phase of strong creative renewal and confirms Milan’s strategic role as an international hub connecting emerging talents, established houses and global organizations.

Blending debuts, international collaborations and support for new generations, Milan Fashion Week FW 2026/27 does more than present collections—it shapes a cultural vision of fashion as a universal language capable of connecting disciplines, identities and markets.
