Montblanc marks Chinese New Year 2026 with an exclusive capsule collection dedicated to the Year of the Horse, transforming the tradition of handwritten wishes into a contemporary message of connection and new beginnings. Designed by Creative Director Marco Tomasetta, the collection pays tribute to Chinese symbolism through auspicious red and gold tones and a dynamic horse motif racing through stylized clouds drawn like a pen stroke—an allusion to the infinity sign and the number eight, long associated with prosperity.
The capsule features a selection of leather accessories created to accompany journeys in the year ahead, including bags, travel pieces, and writing essentials, alongside new interpretations of the Maison’s iconic instruments such as the Meisterstück Golden Hour Solitaire with translucent bordeaux lacquer and gold finishes, and the Meisterstück Bordeaux, a refined update of a timeless classic. Completing the offering is the Star Legacy Moonphase Limited Edition 1786 watch, inspired by the historic ascent of Mont Blanc and distinguished by a bordeaux glacier-pattern dial and moonphase complication.
