British watchmaker Bremont continues to push its modern tool-watch vision forward with the launch of the Terra Nova 38 Jumping Hour Stealth Black — a bold new interpretation of one of its most distinctive designs. Clad entirely in deep black, the latest edition transforms the character of the Terra Nova line, giving the watch a sharper, more contemporary presence on the wrist.

According to CEO Davide Cerrato, the all-black execution brings a fresh attitude to the classic montres à guichet display style, where time is shown through apertures rather than traditional hands. The result is both minimalist and striking, combining vintage inspiration with a confident modern aesthetic.
The Terra Nova collection itself draws on early 20th-century military and trench watches, reflected in the cushion-shaped case and compact proportions. In this Stealth Black version, the dark coating enhances durability while giving the watch a distinctly urban, almost tactical feel. Despite its understated palette, legibility remains strong thanks to luminous detailing and clear window displays for hours and minutes.

Two strap options allow the look to shift from rugged to refined: a matching black metal bracelet for a seamless monochrome statement, or a leather bund strap — a historic pilot-style design originally created to protect wrists from extreme temperatures. The bund can also be removed for a cleaner, classic leather-strap profile.
Inside, the watch is driven by a specially developed movement that enables the jumping-hour display to change instantly and precisely, reinforcing the model’s blend of mechanical craft and visual simplicity.
Following the enthusiastic reception of earlier editions, the Stealth Black release positions the Terra Nova 38 Jumping Hour as the most dramatic expression of the series so far — a confident statement piece that merges heritage cues, modern design, and everyday practicality into a single, compelling wristwatch.
