LVMH Prize 2026: The New Geography of Emerging Fashion

From the return of Kartik Research — already a semi-finalist in 2023 — to the growing presence of African and Asian designers, the 2026 edition captures an increasingly decentralized and multicultural fashion system.

Over 2,400 applications from around the world, 17 countries represented, and three new nations making their debut — Georgia, Kenya and Thailand. The thirteenth edition of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers once again confirms its role as a key observatory of contemporary creativity.

On February 10, 2026, from Paris, LVMH unveiled the 20 semi-finalists who will present their collections on March 4 and 5 in an exceptional showroom setting. For the first time, the event will take place at La Samaritaine, the iconic landmark in the heart of the French capital.

Global Talents, Radical Visions

“The collections range from contemporary elegance to bold designs and even one-of-a-kind pieces,” declared Delphine Arnault, emphasizing how craftsmanship and material research lie at the heart of this year’s edition.

The 2026 shortlist tells the story of a fluid, culturally rooted and identity-driven fashion landscape. Across womenswear, menswear and genderless collections, the selected brands explore heritage, textile experimentation and sustainability.
