From May 7 to 10, 2026, Geneva will shine once again as the world capital of jewelry and gemology with the tenth edition of GemGenève, the trade show founded in 2018 by Ronny Totah and Thomas Faerber. In less than ten years, it has established itself as a must-see event for professionals, collectors, and enthusiasts from around the world.

Held in Pavilion 2 of Palexpo, GemGenève 2026 will bring together 199 international exhibitors, including gemstone dealers, contemporary jewelers, antique jewelry specialists, emerging designers, artisans, and higher education institutions, creating a unique ecosystem where dialogue between generations, skills, and cultures is an integral part of the experience. Despite steady growth, evidenced by the 4,970 visitors at the 2025 edition, the show firmly asserts its identity as a human-scale event, designed by retailers for retailers, where value is measured not only in terms of deals closed but also through relationships, the transmission of expertise, and the sharing of knowledge.

“The show exists because the exhibitors want it to exist,” emphasizes Ronny Totah, highlighting a participatory approach that translates into opportunities for direct discussion with professionals and constant attention to market developments, from transparency of treatments to stone traceability. GemGenève is much more than a trade show: its rich cultural program, with over 139 events including conferences, roundtables, book presentations, and meetings with experts, makes it a true laboratory of ideas, further enhanced by the free availability of content on the show’s digital platform.

To celebrate the milestone of its tenth edition, GemGenève is also presenting a new visual identity that connects the creative gesture and the final result, paying homage to the diversity of jewelry crafts, from design to cutting, from setting to polishing, through to gemological research and trade. Support for the talents of today and tomorrow remains central, through student awards and emblematic stories of careers born right here in the corridors of Palexpo, such as those of lapidary Hugo Massy and designer Aline Debusigne, who have become symbols of GemGenève’s role as a true springboard.

The tenth edition represents not a point of arrival but a new beginning: in an increasingly global, demanding, and conscious jewelry world, GemGenève continues to stand out for its ability to unite commerce, culture, and ethics, offering a comprehensive and vibrant vision of an ever-evolving sector and confirming, from 7 to 10 May 2026, Geneva as the place where everything can begin, once again.
