In December 2025, in the heart of Megève, Hôtel Saint-Georges will reopen its doors. Within this chalet of alpine spirit and poetic soul, a new story begins — one written by Chapitre Six (creators of La Ponche, Hana, and Le Bus Palladium) in collaboration with celebrated British designer Luke Edward Hall.
Known for his vibrant, narrative aesthetic — from Hotel Les Deux Gares in Paris to collaborations with Liberty London, Richard Ginori, Svenskt Tenn, and Gant Home — Hall reimagines mountain hospitality through color, folklore, and fantasy. His vision transforms the hotel into a theatrical retreat, where alpine elegance meets whimsical storytelling. Hand-painted frescoes, vivid wallpapers, and carefully sourced antiques create a space that feels like a living novel — somewhere between mountain myth and fairytale.
Set at the end of Megève’s pedestrian street, just steps from the ski lifts, Hôtel Saint-Georges offers the ideal retreat for experiencing the mountains in every season. In winter, the crackle of the fire fills the bar; in summer, golden light spills across the terrace. Quiet rooms open onto snow-covered peaks, while laughter gathers around the generous tables of La Table du Trappeur, the hotel’s convivial mountain bistro.
The hotel features 24 rooms, including 5 suites, many with balconies overlooking the village bell tower or alpine summits. Each space tells its own story: the Piano Bar, intimate by day and lively by night; the Wellness Area, dedicated to contrast therapy with sauna, hot and cold baths, massages, and fitness room; the Games Room and Library, a retreat for travelers of all ages; and the Sunlit Terrace, a warm refuge between two seasons.
With this opening, Chapitre Six unveils its first Alpine destination, following Paris, Saint-Tropez, Antibes, and Barbizon. Once again, the group affirms its bold and narrative vision of hospitality — where every address is conceived as a story waiting to be lived.
