On September 29, 2025, the Monnaie de Paris hosted the second edition of the Shenzhen Futian Fashion Day, part of the Welcome to Paris program promoted by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. The event, organized by the Bay Area Sustainable Fashion Alliance (BASFA) with the support of the Futian District Government in Shenzhen, celebrated Chinese creativity and fostered dialogue with the Parisian fashion scene.
Three major names in Chinese womenswear took the stage. NEXY.CO, part of the EEKA Fashion Group, presented The Time of MULAN, a tribute to the strength and resilience of the contemporary woman. YINER, under the YINGER Fashion Group, unveiled The Order of Nature, a collection that intertwined the vitality of nature with feminine beauty through the symbolism of the golden spiral. Laurèl, a German brand with Bauhaus roots and part of the Ellassay Group, proposed The Eternity of Order, a geometric and timeless vision of femininity.
The initiative went beyond a simple showcase of collections, reinforcing ties between Shenzhen and Paris through fashion while promoting cultural and creative cooperation. On this occasion, a memorandum of understanding was signed between BASFA and Luxurynsight, the French platform that will support the international expansion of Futian’s maisons.
At the heart of Shenzhen, the Futian District confirmed its role as a strategic hub for fashion in China, alongside finance and technology. In 2024, the fashion sector generated 15% of the local GDP, supported by more than 1,700 companies and clusters such as the Bay Area Fashion Center. The opening of the Istituto Marangoni campus and the integration of artificial intelligence and smart wearables further strengthened the district’s international ambition.
The runway show was enriched by an original soundtrack generated by artificial intelligence, a sign of Futian’s determination to merge tradition with digital innovation.
