During Milan Fashion Week, Tod’s was honored with the prestigious Sustainable Fashion Award 2025, presented by the Italian Chamber of Fashion in the Craft and Artisanship category. The award recognizes the brand’s innovative Tod’s Passport project, a digital product passport created for its iconic Di Bag and My Gommino.
Developed in collaboration with the Aura Blockchain Consortium and Temera, Tod’s Passport is a tangible expression of the brand’s commitment to sustainability. The initiative is designed to ensure traceability, authenticity, and transparency throughout the entire production process, while also enhancing the customer experience.
Through a dedicated app, consumers can follow every stage of the product’s creation—from material selection to final craftsmanship—promoting greater awareness and engagement.
The award was presented at an exclusive ceremony held at Milan’s Teatro alla Scala, where supermodel Iman handed the prize to Tod’s Creative Director, Matteo Tamburini.
“We are honored to receive this recognition, which celebrates our commitment to merging traditional craftsmanship with sustainable innovation,” said Tamburini, and continues: “The Tod’s Passport project represents a true revolution in the luxury sector, and sustainability into one exceptional product. It’s our way of looking to the future while never forgetting the roots of our tradition.”
