Clothing as a vector for transformation and affirmation. For the Dior autumn-winter 2025-2026 ready-to-wear collection, the House revisits memories and gestures that are part of Dior heritage, weaving a fascinating exchange with the history of fashion. The meticulously designed silhouettes bear witness to the passage of time, the codes and emblems of each era. Captivating shots by artist Tim Walker showcase the modern wardrobe – a repertoire of possibilities – reflecting the idea of metamorphosis.

Offering a marvelous guiding thread, the fluid, timeless figure of Orlando, the leading character of Virginia Woolf’s eponymous initiatory novel who traverses ages, places and genders, pervades the entire campaign. The protagonist’s free, shifting identity is embodied by the models passing through symbolic portals between past and future, reality and imagination. With an interplay of various perspectives and optical illusions, the images express the power of style to, like literature, reveal the plurality of the self and to constantly redefine forms of being.

In a dreamlike decor – located in the majestic setting of Hatfield House in England – the looks are firmly rooted in the present, fulfilling their functional role and responding to current desires. Crinoline dresses are shortened to better accompany movement, while bustiers and corsets are enhanced with zips and systems that allow volumes to be shaped, promising lightness and ease. Daringly bold, the jacket – in all its variations – and ultra-structured coats are dressed in delicately crafted velvet, embroidered horsehair, technical fabrics, and denim, poetically unveiling at traces of different eras. In this dialogue of contrasts, each piece spotlights exceptional, unique savoir-faire.

Inspired by menswear, the shoes epitomize the line’s spirit of change, as exemplified by the Dior Dandy derbies, the Dior Novel loafers, and the Dior Century boots. Combining singularity and practicality, the bags feature soft curves highlighted by subtle finishes, such as the D-Journey in a mesmerizing red hue or the D-Céleste trimmed with fringing. The ultimate finishing touch, elegant berets stand out with their absolute refinement. A creative odyssey, an invitation to venture away to an idyllic elsewhere, between memory, the present, and what has yet to (be)come.
