After the success of the first Time Eater, the one-eyed, gaping-mouthed beast returns in an even more daring guise. This time, Konstantin Chaykin adds a touch of mechanical madness: the Tourbillon. An addition that transforms this watch from a simple mechanism into a living, irreverent creature capable of making time itself bite.

“Chaykin wanted more madness. More complexity. Specifically: a tourbillon. And when Konstantin Chaykin wants to build a monster and stir things up, you don’t say no. So here we are with two editions, the same monster spirit and different executions. One for him. One for us. This isn’t strategy. It’s two independents off the leash, building creatures, not just watches. Having fun, making noise and letting the monster out to play. Because time does not only tick, we make it bite. And this beast? It’s still hungry.”

Manuel Emch, CEO of Louis Erard

The Time Eater Tourbillon is not a simple complication, but a true statement of style and technique. Two versions are available: a limited edition of 78 pieces, sold by Louis Erard, with a green dial and a green “toad” leather strap; and a more exclusive one, only 28 pieces, sold directly by Chaykin, featuring a blue dial and a grained calfskin strap.

The technical heart of the watch is the BCP T02 caliber, a manually wound movement with Côtes de Genève decoration and a 100-hour power reserve. The tourbillon, visible at 6 o’clock, completes a full rotation every 60 seconds, giving life and movement to this mechanical monster.
