The campaign stars House Ambassador Callum Turner, portrayed in a series of shots that effortlessly combine his charisma and artistic flair with the distinctive expressiveness of the LV BUTTERSOFT Sneaker. The LV BUTTERSOFT Sneaker takes its name from the “buttery” leather it is crafted from, a material that embodies the House’s exceptional savoir-faire and the extreme attention to detail that defines its construction.
A reflection of its emblematic qualities and versatile shape, the sneaker’s twenty-four iterations come in a rich variety of colorways and compositions: from deep hues to delicate pastels, including models embellished with the Louis Vuitton Monogram. An expression of the dandyism that inspires the Louis Vuitton Men’s Studio, the LV BUTTERSOFT Sneaker is imbued with the high level of craftsmanship and care in the making of Italian artisans. Combining the comfort of a running sneaker with the quality of a formal shoe in a new versatile shape, it breaks traditional dress codes with a casual language mixed with the refined taste that defines the dandy.
The LV BUTTERSOFT Sneaker is embellished with details inspired by the Maison’s leather goods, including enchape inserts, while some variants feature new hand-painted brown edges. With the tongue decorated with the Phriendship silhouette of Pharrell Williams’ face – emblem of the Fall-Winter 2025 Men’s Collection – the sneaker reflects the dialogue with streetwear, a central element of this season’s stylistic research. The design tells the story of streetwear and its impact on contemporary dress codes, sinking its roots in the leather sneakers born from the adaptation of sports shoes to everyday life in the ’60s. Reflecting the spirit of the models made iconic by the hip-hop community in the early 2000s, the LV BUTTERSOFT Sneaker pays homage to the streetwear culture that shaped and inspired Pharrell Williams’ creative journey. As a hidden surprise, the insert embedded on the back of the sneaker features an embossed lobster. This motif is inspired by the shared memories between the Men’s Artistic Director and designer Nigo, with whom Pharrell Williams co-created the Men’s Fall-Winter 2025 Collection.
