Now in its second year, Summer Reads is part of a series of initiatives by Miu Miu that highlight the commitment to contemporary thought and literature. The event takes place in iconic and evocative green spaces in selected international cities, transformed into places of reading and reflection.
The initiative will take place on June 27 and 28 in Beijing, Hong Kong, Milan and Paris, while in Osaka it will be held on June 28 and 29.
Open to the public, Miu Miu Summer Reads invites guests to immerse themselves in a unique space, each city characterized by a distinctive color and an ex-libris symbol – a tribute to the value of books. At the heart of the initiative is a carefully selected selection of the works of two visionary women writers: Simone de Beauvoir and Fumiko Enchi.
Visitors will be offered a choice of Le Inseparabili and Onnazaka, both customized for the occasion with exclusive Miu Miu designs: covers, bookmarks, metal bookends and stamps.
