Once again, during the Cannes Festival, Dior invites the film world to its suite on the 6th floor of Le Majestic. A stone’s throw from the Palais des Festivals on the Croisette, this emblematic hotel with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea offers an ideal break from the hustle and bustle of the festival.
Stars hosted in the Dior Suite in recent years include House Ambassadors Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron and Anya Taylor-Joy, as well as Johnny Depp and Robert Pattinson. The House has also welcomed iconic celebrities Camille Cottin, Raphaël Quenard, Mallory Wanecque, Juliette Armanet, Nicole Wallace, Carla Bruni and Lucien Laviscount, among many others.
This season, Dior welcomes its guests in a décor inspired by the Dioriviera collection. As soon as they enter the reception area, the House guests are immersed in a surprising and truly enchanting Riviera realm. Natural materials such as sisal and rattan have been reworked into the iconic woven Dior cannage for wall coverings that frame an exotic, natural setting of lush plants, cacti and palms made of wicker. Model elephants and giraffes are also crafted from this woven fiber. Shades of sand, beige and khaki set the scene, studded with signature Dior touches such as the emblematic Toile de Jouy in midnight blue, featured on decorative elements and on the terrace overlooking the sea.
Stretching across 350 m2, the Dior suite is transformed for the entire fortnight into a full-time beauty hive. To prepare the skin and reveal its glow prior to an application of makeup, the Dior facialist team offers massages and flash facial treatments. The team is headed by Hadda Akrim, a Dior Global Wellness Expert, whose holistic method and ultra-targeted techniques are in demand among stars worldwide. Akrim co-created the Kobi-Dior treatment, based on an exclusive «figure-8» massage in a nod to Monsieur Dior’s favorite number.
The makeup room is run by members of the Dior Pro Makeup Team, including Junior Cedeno, Norman Pohl, Jamie Coombes, Ricky Wilson and Sarbast Gli, as well as international makeup artists such as Ruby Mazuel, Yacine Diallo and Kristina Vidic. Each of them delivers their own artistic touch to enhance the celebrities, using the collections and infinite color palette created by Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup.
To complete the beauty journey, guests are invited to enjoy expert manicures and nail artistry at the dedicated nail bar, featuring the Dior Vernis line. For the second year running, an exclusive hairstyling space in partnership with Dyson Beauty will host a team of leading professionals, offering personalised, high-performance styling experiences powered by the latest Dyson innovations.
