In time for the festive season, Burberry expands its home and furnishings collection with new home accessories and fragrance lines, under the creative vision of Daniel Lee.
Home is at the heart of the festive season and Burberry’s curated gifts capture the mood with warmth and joy. Wool and cashmere cushions and blankets are woven in Scotland in the classic Burberry Check and are complemented by cheerful seasonal checked wool socks.
Burberry launches its first scented candles under the creative vision of Daniel Lee, with the design inspired by the wax seals used by the brand in the early 20th century.
The candles are made in Italy and have been developed to burn from the centre and retain their pillar shape. Each candle takes 48 hours to make and has a burn time of 120 hours.
The design is set in a fine bone china dish, with the Burberry logo embossed at the base in a contrasting unglazed finish. Production takes place in a pottery in Stoke-on-Trent, the traditional heart of the British ceramics industry, and takes up to four days.
The collection features three unique fragrances identified by Burberry’s signature colours: Woodfire and Clove in the house’s classic Knight Blue, Ivy and Sandalwood in ivy green and Ginger and Caramel in beige. The paper packaging is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and is 100% recyclable.
To embrace the gift-giving season, Burberry has launched a set of tea towels featuring recipes for classic British dishes and desserts, such as Beef Wellington, Eton Mess and mince pies. Made from linen cotton, the tea towels are printed with hand-drawn designs of the dishes, evoking a sense of family recipes passed down through the generations.
