A tutti i fashionisti e gli appassionati di musica: l’etichetta di musica e moda Maison Kitsuné continua la sua collaborazione con Petit Bateau iniziata con successo nel 2009 con una capsule collection ed evolutasi con l’assegnazione al duo della direzione creativa delle collezioni adulto nel 2013.
Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki oltre a dipingere con le loro stampe giocose e super-cool le collezioni adulto del brand, hanno curato per Petit Bateau un esplosivo programma musicale decisamente fuori dagli schemi.
Dopo il successo di Chloé Howl al Nüba in occasione della Fashion Week parigina dello scorso settembre, è ora il turno degli “Years & Years”, una giovane band presente nell’ultima compilation dei Kitsuné “New Faces”, che si esibiranno nella radiosa Tokyo il 28 di Marzo.
Nel pieno della stagione della fioritura dei ciliegi, durante il Sakura Festival, l’emergente trio londinese si esibirà in concerto al Sound Museum Vision, un immenso locale futuristico sotterraneo che ospita eventi di arte, moda, e animazione grafica.
Mixando il calore dell’analogico con la modernità del digitale, gli “Years & Years” si esibiranno per i loro fans giapponesi in “Gaia”, il corpo principale di questo club unico e dotato di un impianto audio ritenuto uno dei migliori al mondo.
Per chi non potrà assistere al concerto sarà disponibile un video sul canale Youtube di Petit Bateau a partire dal 10 Aprile.
Il video ricreerà l’atmosfera del party riproducendone la musica, il fantastico allestimento e le ragazze in total look Petit Bateau.
Years & Years
Gli Years & Years sono un trio londinese che suona musica RnB coniugata con l’electro-pop. Capitanati dal cantante e attore Olly Alexander, la cui vocalità sexy e androgina risulta di grande espressività ed innovazione elettronica, gli Years & Years hanno scalato le classifiche con il loro secondo singolo “Real” pubblicato lo scorso mese di Febbraio.

Calling all fashionistas and music fans: the fashion and music label Kitsuné is continu- ing its collaboration with Petit Bateau: as well as illustrating the Petit Bateau collection for adults with their cheerful, timeless and witty graphics, Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki have curated a dynamite and uncategorisable music programme for the brand.
After Chloé Howl rocked the house at Nüba during Paris Fashion Week last September, it’s the turn of Years & Years, a young band featured on the last Kitsuné compilation, “New Faces”, who will be setting Tokyo ablaze on March 28th.
In the heart of Tokyo’s cherry blossom season (the Sakura Festival), the rising London-based trio will per- form a concert at Tokyo’s Sound Museum Vision, an immense futuristic subterranean club which hosts art, fashion, performance and graphic animation. Blending the warmth of the analogue experience with the cool of digital, Years & Years will perform for their Tokyo fans in the main space, Gaia, the principle floor of this unique and irresistible club whose sound system is con- sidered to be one of the best in the world.
There’s even a bonus for those who can’t make it to the venue: a video of the event will be broadcast on the Petit Bateau Live Session Youtube channel from April 10th. On the programme: music, fabulous decor and young women dressed head to toe in Petit Bateau hanging out in the crowd – you’ll feel like you are really there.
Years&Years is a trio from London who makes pensive RnB – inflected electro-pop.
Fronted by actor and singer Olly Alexander, whose sexy, androgynous vocals are layered on top of soulful, cut- ting-edge electronica, Years & Years had a chart-top- ping hit with their second single “Real”, released this February.
