Day / night. Real / Unreal. Portrait of a rebellious youth, emerging from the shadows through the light reflected from the surfaces of an elegantly subversive clothing. For this collection, Miuccia Prada continues her rediscovery of the Miu Miu identity, drawing on the past to build the future and on codes that are both known – obsessive – and new; personal and universal.

In the same spirit, the cornerstones of the evening wardrobe blend with those of daywear. The uniform is interpreted in different versions, with openings and slits, while the proportions are continually reinvented and the character of the looks themselves – and of the people who wear them – comes to the fore. Time and place are indistinguishable, they deliberately resist definition.

Skirts are pleated, shirts and jackets radically shortened. The typically bourgeois suit is edged with oversized crystals and blends with a sportswear-inspired silhouette. Bright white tennis skirts, with the Miu Miu brand printed on sporty stripes, are worn low on the hips with short cardigans in pastel colors. The curvy satin afternoon dresses are sensual and finished with puffed sleeves. The Miu Wander bag, soft and pleasant in iconic quilted leather, completes the look.

A provocative game between innocence and experience prevails, a timeless wardrobe, an atmosphere in constant definition. Here are clothes for work, for fun and dancing, wherever and whoever is the person who wears them. In this way, the clothes are an expression of a free spirit, of a community of like-minded beings who identify with each other through a celebration of individuality – a celebration of style.
