Il sito web dedicato “Inside Chanel” (inside.chanel.com) ripercorre la storia dell’iconica Gabrielle Chanel e delle sue creazioni che sono ancora attualissime e hanno dato origine alla leggendaria storia della Maison.

Il quattordicesimo capitolo di Inside Chanel è “Il vocabolario della moda” e ci aiuta a scoprire gli elementi che costituiscono l’identità Chanel creati da Coco e costantemente rivisitati da Karl Lagerfeld.

Grazie allo spirito ribelle e alle scoperte, all’audacia e ai ricordi d’infanzia legati all’orfanotrofio, nonché alle storie d’amore, Gabrielle Chanel ha creato un nuovo linguaggio della moda ed uno stile che ancor oggi continua a perpetuarsi grazie alla creatività di Karl Lagerfeld: “Mademoiselle Chanel ci ha tramandato uno stile.

La borsa trapuntata ispirata alle borse militari da uomo, il tubino nero, i gioielli couture, la camelia, la catena, la scarpa bicolore, le perle e il tweed fanno ormai parte integrante del vocabolario Chanel.

From February 22nd 2016, the fourteenth chapter “The vocabulary of fashion” offers an invitation to discover the elements of Chanel identification created by Gabrielle Chanel and constantly revisited by Karl Lagerfeld.

With her rebellion and discoveries, her audacity and the childhood memories of the orphanage, and also with her romances, Gabrielle Chanel set in place a new language in fashion and a style that still today never ceases to perpetuate itself thanks to Karl Lagerfeld’s creativity: “Mademoiselle Chanel handed us down a style. And the style she advocated never dates. Chanel’s success was knowing how to get across the elements of her identity. Timeless music built around five notes by which women instantly recognize the essence of Chanel: luxury and refinement.” says the designer.

The quilted handbag inspired by men’s satchels, the little black dress, costume jewellery, the camellia, the chain, the two-tone shoe, the pearl and tweed are all today integral elements of the Chanel vocabulary.

Dès le 22 février 2016, le quatorzième chapitre “Le vocabulaire de la mode” vous invite à découvrir les éléments d’identification de Chanel, créés par Gabrielle Chanel et constamment revisités par Karl Lagerfeld.
