J Autumn Fashion Show sulla Senna a Parigi

Jessica Minh Anh non ha mai fallito nello stupire. Ieri, la celebre sfilata di moda è stata ospitata in una splendida passerella galleggiante di 100 metri sul fiume Senna a Parigi. L’esclusiva sfilata fall/winter 2015 di Jessica Minh Anh, ha presentato 6 collezioni d’ haute couture e prêt-à-porter da Europa, Asia, Nuova Zelanda e Sud America, affascinando il pubblico con una raffinata combinazione di arte, architettura, cultura, e la moda.

Con uno spettacolo eccezionale, Jessica ha creato una sfilata che aveva per fondale l’affasciante lungo Senna di Parigi. Gli ospiti erano seduti di fronte a enormi finestre di vetro che lasciavano passare una bellissima luce e che incorniciavano i modelli con un “quadro” in continua evoluzione mentre la barca stava navigando. Rendendo le meraviglie architettoniche, come la Torre Eiffel, Notre Dame, il Louvre, e i 37 ponti iconici uno sfondo naturale per una passerella dinamica.

Lo scenario mozzafiato è stato completato dalle eccezionali creazioni di moda di talenti internazionali. Ad aprire la sfilata con classe ed eleganza, Jessica Minh Anh è apparsa in un abito nero scollato con dettagli in rilievo a forma di aquila del rappresentante sudamericano Ani Álvarez Calderón. A seguire la bellezza esotica ha indossato una stupenda corona di piume. L’artista peruviano fonde con successo pizzo, raso duchesse, lana di alpaca, metalli e cashmere per realizzare una collezione autentica e piena di sentimento.

Lo show è proseguito con una collezione haute couture del designer turco Gulnur Güneş. Abiti lunghi, ispirati alla vita sottile delle donne degli anni ’60, hanno aggiunto romanticismo e femminilità in passerella.

Puntando sulla semplicità, le forme, i colori ,lo studio creativo 5.8.0 (da Hong Kong) ha debuttato con una collezione fresca e senza tempo utilizzando diversi motivi e tessuti. Il tono giovane e funky riflette lo stile autentico del designer Matiny Ng, la cui collezione è giocata su struttura e illustrazione.

L’artista Leilani Rickard porta le tradizioni e i tesori della Nuova Zelanda nel mondo moderno attraverso una collezione dal taglio pulito del suo marchio IWI Creations. Stampato su propri tessuti, l’artista ha incapsulato il patrimonio multiculturale della sua terra con la fusione di radici maori ed europee.

La casa di moda di Saudi Arabia Ot Kutur Atelier ha creato una linea in cui la leggerezza e colori monocromi si sono succeduti accanto a capi dal taglio e materiali strutturati. Affascinato dal misticismo, dalla numerologia e dalla geometria, il designer Samar Nsraldin ha concettualizzato ogni capo in forme dallo spiccato feel tridimensionale sfruttando le tecniche di cucito a mano francese.

L’etichetta libanese d’haute couture Rouba.G ha chiuso lo show con una collezione eccezionale che rifletteva la grazia, l’individualità e l’indipendenza di una donna, . Il marchio ha imparato l’arte di esprimere sia la femminilità che la forza con colori vivaci e ricami. L’abito finale indossato da Jessica Minh Anh ha rivelato una miscela perfetta di trasparenze e di sapienza artigianale, interpretando al meglio la bellezza moderna.

Jessica Minh Anh has never failed to impress. Yesterday, the renowned fashion show producer and model staged a stunning 100-metre floating catwalk on the Seine river in Paris. The unique J Autumn Fashion Show 2015, which premiered 6 haute couture and ready-to-wear collections from Europe, Asia, New Zealand, and South America, captivated the audience with an exquisite combination of art, architecture, culture, and fashion.

With an exceptional vision, Jessica created a live runway with an evolving background of Paris. The young entrepreneur had guests seated facing the multi-faced glass windows of the river’s famous Le Jean Bruel and watch models walking in front of them while the boat was cruising. As a result, architectural wonders such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre, and the 37 iconic bridges became the natural backdrop for the dynamic catwalk.

The breath-taking scenery was complimented by the outstanding fashion creations from international talents. Opening the show with class and elegance, Jessica Minh Anh appeared in a mesmerising low cut black dress with eagle-shaped beaded details by South American representative Ani Álvarez Calderón. Following the exotic beauty wearing a feather crown was a stunning line up of models in futuristic designs. The Peruvian artist successfully mixed collages of lace, satin duchesse, gold plated metals, cashmere, and alpaca wool to accomplish a soulful and authentic collection.

The show continued with an extravagant haute couture collection by Turkish designer Gülnur Güneş. The floor length dresses, inspired by slim-waisted women of the 60s, highlighted the perfect silhouette and added romance and femininity onto the catwalk.

Focusing on simplicity, shapes, and colours, 5.8.0 creative studio from Hong Kong premiered a fresh and timeless collection using different motifs and fabrics. The youthful and funky tone reflected the authentic style of designer Matiny Ng, who is influenced by structure and illustration.

Kiwi artist Leilani Rickard carried traditions and treasures of New Zealand into the modern world through a clean-cut collection from her brand Iwi Creations. Printing on her own fabrics, the artist encapsulated the multicultural heritage and the melding of Maori and European roots.

Saudi Arabian fashion house Ot Kutyr Atulier created beautiful lightness using monotone colours alongside shear fabrics and textured materials. Fascinated with mysticism, numerology and geometry, designer Samar Nsraldin conceptualised each piece in third dimensional form while making the most of French hand sewing techniques.

Lebanese haute couture label Rouba.G closed the show with an exceptional collection that reflected woman’s grace, individuality, and independence. The brand mastered the art of expressing both femininity and power using bold colours, detailed embroidery, and leather-on-silk fluidity. The finale dress worn by Jessica Minh Anh revealed a perfect blend of transparency and craftsmanship, and portrayed the very best of modern beauty.

This is not the first time Jessica Minh Anh successfully presented her concept of “models walking on water”. Earlier this year, New Yorkers witnessed the model transforming the Hudson river’s only glass boat into a catwalk right before her technological phenomenon at the Spanish solar power plant in July 2015. “I simply don’t know how she does it” said Marco Goncalvez, Operation Manager of Compagnie des Bateaux Mouches “I remember a young girl walk into our office 3 years ago with a special catwalk idea, which we instantly knew would be a great success. Watching Jessica Minh Anh’s rapid growth with a show every three month in a different continent has been really fascinating.”

J Autumn Fashion Show 2015 once again saw Jessica Minh Anh raising the bar and further redefining modern fashion standards. After continuously making history at the world’s most celebrated destinations including the Eiffel Tower, Grand Canyon Skywalk, London’s Tower Bridge, Petronas Twin Towers’ Skybridge, and One World Trade Center besides the rivers, one may wonder where Jessica Minh Anh is heading next. “The catwalk venues I’ve planned for 2016 are not only architectural, technological, and natural wonders but also play a big role in politics and economics.
