“Volevo ritrarre un’idea di femminismo in questa collezione, e ho guardato allo spirito indipendente delle campionesse sportive degli anni ’30 e al tipo di tessuti e soluzioni che indossavano”.

– Jonny Johansson, Creative Director.

“I wanted to portray an idea of feminism in this collection, and looked towards the independent spirit of 1930s sportswomen, and the realness of the traditional fabrics they wore.”

– Jonny Johansson, Creative Director.

A layered silhouette created entirely from traditional fabrics: houndstooth, tweed, wool, boiled wool, silk, shearling, denim.

Knitwear is wrapped, whether it’s oversized blankets and scarves that cocoon the body, or boiled Shetland wool coats fastened with a large pin.

The sportiness of tweed: little fringed-edge tailored jackets, sleeveless tops and shift dresses, or functional wide-cut cropped pants.

Utilitarian shearling gilets with oversized pockets have the wool on the outside, while shearling is used as a lining for a sleeveless denim coatdress.

Menswear influences bring crispness, especially with patterned tie silks used for tailored pants and wrap skirts tied with string.

The extravagance of Swiss lace is undercut when needle-punched with pure Shetland wool to create a sweater dress.

Oatmeal knit gloves are long and ribbed; thigh-high socks have graphic patterns like skiwear; mountain boots finish the silhouette.
