Virginia, the new Malìparmi it-bag

In ogni famiglia ci sono dei tesori che si trasmettono solo da donna a donna. Il senso della bellezza, della vita interiore, l’attenzione a ciò che rende speciale e unico il posto che ognuno occupa, nell’immagine dei fiori i cui colori sono accoppiati magnificamente in un tappeto multicolore.

E sono questi valori delicati che sono parte integranti della borsa Virginia, una nuova creazione nata nel legame inscindibile che unisce tre generazioni di donne: Marol, la creatrice di Maliparmi negli anni 70′, sua figlia Annalisa e sua nipote Virginia.

Senza tempo, entusiasta, nomade, creativa, funzionale…questa borsa è perfetta per i bisogni e le necessità di una giovane donna di oggi. Caratteristiche che Annalisa e Virginia hanno da sempre trovato nelle creazioni di Marol e che da più di 30 anni sono i punti di forza di Maliparmi: “Ho chiesto a mia figlia di guardare le creazioni di mia madre attraverso i suoi occhi di giovane studentessa bohemienne e impegnata. Dai suoi appunti abbiamo immaginato la nostra borsa che rappresenta qualcosa che è simile a un passaggio da mia madre a me e spero nel futuro a Virginia”.

Molto strutturata, la borsa Virginia combina perfettamente eleganza e funzionalità. L’essenza del brand è evidente anche nella sua forma e nella sua realizzazione, dove la manifattura si fonde completamente con la tecnologia, come risultato di una forte esperienza e savoir faire presente nel processo di lavorazione dal design fino al prodotto finito.

Realizzata in morbida pelle naturale in quattro diversi accoppiamenti di colore, flessibile grazie alle finiture Jersey ispirate ai Kimono giapponesi. La borsa mostra tocchi leggeri sui bordi puliti e sui dettagli , sulla rosa ricamata come un tatuaggio da sempre simbolo della storia di Maliparmi.

Tutti questi dettagli handmade rendono ogni borsa un pezzo unico.

La borsa Virginia ha iniziato il suo viaggio a Padova e a New York dove ha partecipato a un’asta benefica per la Trace Foundation come parte del progetto Fashion for Tibet che promuoveva la cultura tibetana. Per questa occasione abbiamo immaginato la versione Suzani ispirata dalle fantasie e dai colori del Tibet e adornata con colorati fiori ricamati.

In every family, there are treasures that transmit only from woman to woman. The sense of beauty, of inner life, the attention to what makes the special place of each being, in the image of the flowers whose colors are assembled to the magnificence of a flowerbed.

It is these delicate values that are embodied today in the Virginia bag, a new creation born from the unbreakable bond – woven transmission and sharing – that unites three generations of women: Marol, creator of Maliparmi in the 1970s, her daughter Annalisa and granddaughter Virginia.

Timeless, enthusiastic, nomad, creative, functional … this bag is designed to meet the essential needs of a young woman of today. Fundamentals that Annalisa and Virginia found in the first creations of Marol and that for thirty years are the strength of Maliparmi: « I asked my daughter to look at the creations of my mother with her young students’ eyes, bohemian and committed. From her remarks, we imagined our bag, which symbolizes a handover from my mother, me and I hope, in the future … Virginia! »

Very structured, the Virginia bag combines elegance and functionality. The essence of the brand Maliparmi is also evident in its form and realization, where manufacturing merges completely with technology, as a result of the strong expertise present throughout the manufacturing process, from design to final assembly.

Made in soft natural leather, peacock green, brown bark and black, flexible due to its Jersey lining inspired by a Japanese kimono. The bag exhibits touches of light on its polished edges, on its details interlaced on the sleeves, on the rose embroidered like a tattoo, symbol as always of the history of Maliparmi.

All these handmade finishes make each bag a unique piece.

The Virginia bag began its journey in Padova and in New York where it participated in a charity benefitting Trace Foundation as part of Fashion for Tibet promoting Tibetan culture. For this occasion, we imagined the Suzani version inspired by the patterns and colors of Tibet and is adorned with embroidered colorful flowers.
