Ugly vuol dire “orribile” in inglese, ma U.G.L.Y. è invece un acronimo che sta per ” u gotta love yourself”(devi amare te stesso/a)…U.G.L.Y è un brand giovanissimo che realizza collezioni di moda con lo stesso spirito e passione di un artista che si appresta ad aprire la sua mostra personale. Le suggestioni vengono quindi dall’avanguardia (che sia artistica, musicale…cinematografica) e dallo street-style. Il brand ha un approccio che punta a creare capi che siano soprattutto “fuori” dal meccanismo moda pur vivendo al suo interno, i capi diventano e puntano a diventare capi must-have che vivono più del tempo di una semplice stagione.
