São Paulo International Art Fair 2015    

Carlos Jereissati Filho (CEO of IGUATEMI) è orgoglioso di presentare al mondo il supporto della compagnia alla undicesima edizione di “SP-Arte”, la prima e più importante fiera d’arte del Brasile.

SP-Arte/2015 ospiterà più di 140 dei più importanti artisti del mondo dell’arte moderna e contemporanea provenienti di 17 nazioni. Ci saranno 112 gallerie nella sezione principale che avranno in mostra artisti da tutto il mondo attraverso tutto il Bienal Pavilion. L’evento sarà dal 9 al 12 Aprile 2015 al  Ciccillo Matarazzo pavilion, progettato da Oscar Niemeyer (vincitore del premio Pritzker)

La sezione principale sarà composta da 86 gallerie che tornano anche per questa edizione fra cui: Gagosian Gallery, David Zwirner, Lisson Gallery, Marian Goodman Gallery, Mendes Wood, Luisa Strina e Vermelho.

Ci saranno 12 nuove gallerie che parteciperanno per la prima volta come Goodman Gallery, The Approach, Broadway 1602 e Alexander Gray Associates.

Durante l’evento Iguatemi São Paulo e Oi sveleranno un lounge progettato dall’artista brasiliano José Marton, fatto di legno riciclato. Lo spazio ospiterà presentazioni di libri e riviste e tour guidati dal curatore di Iguatemi Jacopo Crivelli Visconti per i clienti di Iguatemi One (il programma di shopping center per i clienti VIP). Il lounge eco-friendly sarà la location di cocktail e avrà anche delle opere d’arte.

Ad Aprile São Paulo è il luogo di importantissime mostre che coincidono con la fiera. Quest’anno, Iguatemi da il suo supporto a “Sean Scully 1974-2015”, la prima grande mostra dell’artista in Brasile. La mostra apriràl’11 Aprile alla Pinacoteca di  São Paulo. Curata da Jacopo Crivelli Visconti, permetterà ai visitatori di capire i cambiamenti del mondo di Scully e della sua creatività attraverso i decenni della sua opera, includendo anche degli acquerelli meno noti al grande pubblico. Scully è uno dei più importanti artisti astratti della sua generazione ed è stato nominato per ben due volte per un Turner prize.

São Paulo, Brazil – Carlos Jereissati Filho (CEO of IGUATEMI), is pleased to announce the company’s support of the eleventh edition of SP-Arte, Brazil’s first and most important art fair. SP-Arte/2015 will host over 140 of the world’s most prominent modern and contemporary galleries from 17 countries. Highlights for 2015 include 112 galleries in the Main sector showing works by established artists from around the world throughout the Bienal Pavilion. The event will happen from April 9–12 at the Ciccillo Matarazzo pavilion, designed by Pritzker laureate Oscar Niemeyer.

The main section will present 86 returning galleries including Gagosian Gallery, David Zwirner, Lisson Gallery, Marian Goodman Gallery, Mendes Wood, Luisa Strina and Vermelho. 12 new galleries will participate for the first time such as Goodman Gallery, The Approach, Broadway 1602 and Alexander Gray Associates.

During the event, Iguatemi São Paulo and Oi will unveil a lounge designed by Brazilian artist José Marton, comprised of reclaimed wood. The space will host book and magazine launches, as well as guided tours by Iguatemi curator Jacopo Crivelli Visconti for the clients of Iguatemi One, the shopping center’s VIP client program. The sustainable eco-friendly lounge will be a stage for cocktail receptions as well as donation of artworks.

In April, São Paulo is taken over by world class exhibitions that coincide with the fair. This year, Iguatemi lends its support to Sean Scully 1974-2015, the first major exhibition by the Irish-born artist in Brazil. The show will open on April 11 at The Pinacoteca de São Paulo – the official museum of the Secretary of Culture State of São Paulo. Curated by Jacopo Crivelli Visconti, the distinctive assortment of creations allows visitors to detect changes in Scully’s creative process during the past decades and will include his lesser known watercolors. Scully is one of the most important abstract artists from his generation and has been nominated twice for the Turner prize.
