Bonjour Paris…eccoci di nuovo a Parigi pronti a raccontarvi la fashion week anche attraverso instagram, il menù di oggi prevede un piccolo viaggio all’interno della Paris fashion week (PFW), dal pre al post défilé.
Un racconto per immagini (attraverso Instagram) cercando di dirvi quello che c’è dietro e intorno alle sfilate, non ci interessano le immagini perfette…ma quelle divertenti, curiose, interessanti.

Bonjour Paris…here we are in Paris…again…ready to tell you everything about the fashion week trough instagram, the today’s menu special is a journey inside the Paris fashion week (PFW)…from the beginning till the end of a fashion show…ready, steady…gooooo!
We’ll try and tell you all about this fashion week , front row and backstage…we don’t look for perfect pictures…but the more funny/silly/interesting ones.

Le settimane della moda viaggiano veloci…finisce una e inizia l’altra senza fermarsi neanche un attimo, e quando si passa da Milano a Parigi, a volte, è più comodo e veloce prendere un treno piuttosto che l’aereo…soprattutto riuscire a trovare un posto libero! Eccovi uno scatto di Lexi che immortala le sue amiche-colleghe in viaggio verso Parigi, Hanne Gaby Odiele e Binx Walton riposano e si ricaricano pronte per ricominciare.
The fashion weeks run fast…very fast…one ends and another one has already begun so when you have to go from Milan to Paris sometimes it’s easier and more comfy to take a train rather than a plane…you know it’s not that easy to book a flight during fashion week’s time! Here it’s a Lexi’s picture of her travel mates/models/friends on their way to Paris, Hanne Gaby Odiele and Binx Walton take a quick nap to be ready for fashion week.
Una volta arrivati a Parigi è il momento di correre ai casting e ai fitting, quindi scordatevi il tacco 12…ma neanche il tacco 5…le modelle scelgono un paio di comode sneakers senza però rinunciare a un tocco glam, ecco le slip-on effetto pitone di Cora Emmanuel.
Once you’re arrived in Paris it’s already late…super late (it’s always late…even if you’re on time…you know i told you fashion week runs fast right?) and you have to run from one casting to another, so let’s forget high heels…models’ choice is sneakers, comfy and easy…ok don’t forget a little glam here and there, here’s super chic Cora’s snake pattern slip-on.
I casting sono affollati, a volte molto affollati, ed ecco che una scala in legno diventa un ottimo posto dove ingannare l’attesa…la scalata verso il successo passa anche da una scalinata in legno con un velo di patina parisienne.
Castings are loooong wait and lots of models so even wooden stair it’s a nice spot to have a lil chat with friends, makes a few calls…check instagram :-)…to reach the top sometimes you need to climb up a parisienne wooden stairs and be chosen for the right fashion show.
Ok l’iPhone…ok l’iPad…ok il laptop…ma quando bisogna fare un po’ di ordine e stilare l’ordine di uscita delle modelle sulla passerella, ecco in quel caso un bel pennarello e un blocchetto di post-it colorati sono l’unico “device” che vi serve.
We live in the digital era, so you need an iPhone…an iPad…of course a laptop…but when you need to organize everything for the show and decide who’s gonna walk first and who’s gonna walk next on the catwalk…well all you need is a good permanent marker and a ton of colored post-it.

A volte gli scatti di instagram rivelano o suggeriscono il tema o l’ispirazione dietro una sfilata, ecco la location ancora vuota per la sfilata di Christine Phung e il gioco di immagini riflesse e spezzettate non può non essere una citazione della collezione che di lì a poco sfilerà: il tema del caleidoscopio digitale è uno dei leit motiv della linea fall winter 2015 della designer.

Il backstage è anche il set per gli scatti che raccontano le fasi precedenti alla sfilata e chi lavora dietro le quinte, qui una foto per cogliere i particolari del trucco Shiseido…un semplice quaderno con le pagine bianche può essere utilissimo per illuminare ancor meglio il volto della modella.

Che sia un brand di fama mondiale o la sfilata di un giovane designer o di un marchio indipendente tutte le sfilate si chiudono con un liberatorio applauso finale, tutti insieme…designer, make up artist, modelle, parrucchieri, pr, fotografi, light designer…
Whether its a super famous fashion show or its the one of a new designer, every fashion show ends with a big applause to everyone who’s worked for the show…all together, the designer, make up artist…models, hair dresser, pr, photographer, light designer…
Dopo l’applauso e la tensione di giorni frenetici un abbraccio è quello che ci vuole, se poi viene da una collega e una mentore come Donatella Versace tutto è ancora più emozionante. Qui Donatella con Anthony Vaccarello dopo la sfilata parigina. (Anthony disegna anche la linea Versus di Versace).

Quando un invito a una sfilata diventa il mezzo per diffondere l’arte di un illustratore/pittore/fotografo è davvero il massimo, ecco l’opera di Clifford Harper per la collezione di Aganovich FW 2015 “Fool”. La location per Vionnet era il Centre Pompidou, abituato a ospitare opere d’arte un po’ diverse…ma Binx Walton non può essere considerata anche lei “un’opera d’arte”? 😉 Vionnet chose the Centre Pompidou for his show, fashion and clothes and models inside a museum? Well well…Binx Walton is a “work of art” too, don’t you think so? 😉
Sci-fi mania alla sfilata di H&M, una scenografia che cita i film di fantascienza degli anni ’50, e a guidare le danze la poliedrica Caroline De Maigret in versione Dj-Barbarella.

Parigi non è solo sfilate, eventi parallelli, presentazioni, mostre d’arte, eccovi uno dei bellissimi poster disegnati dall’illustratrice Tiffany Cooper in mostra (e in vendita) al Karl Lagerfeld store in Boulevard St. Germain, qui una rilettura di “Gossip Girl” che diventa “Gossip Karl”.
Paris in not only about fashion shows during fashion week, there are lots of event, exhibitions, here’s one of the beautiful posters of the great illustrator Tiffany Cooper (you can see all of them and even buy your favorite one at Karl Lagerfeld store in Boulevard St. Germain).
