Until the end of May, the windows of the ASPESI Milanese flagship store in Via San Pietro All’Orto 24 host the installation “Put some flowers in your bottles”, which wants to highlight the huge amount of plastic we surround ourselves with. For the occasion, the brand has collaborated with the artist Andrea Merendi, who has created a series of paper flowers that color the space. In the foreground, plastic containers of various sizes to highlight the issue of waste and a greater awareness of our habits. An invitation to reflect on everything that passes silently in our homes. Every day, tons of plastic all over the world become waste that often ends its life cycle improperly.
“ASPESI windows have always had a characteristic: they are able to capture the attention of passers-by in a unique and unexpected way. Many times we have succeeded with objects of art, today we want to focus on a reflection that concerns all of us “, comments Fabio Gnocchi, CEO of ASPESI. “The theme of pollution of the seas and, in general, of the re-use of plastic materials is of topical relevance. Through an installation with an artistic and aesthetic value, we want to stimulate a thought, an attention to our own behavior and, potentially, change consumption habits “.
