Trace the history of Georgian Fashion culture with Situationist Spring Summer 2019

1015

Traces of Georgian fashion history are evident in the new Situationist SS19 collection presented at the parking lot at 2 Passage Saint-Pierre Amelot in Paris. The location allowed the experience of rapid passage through varied ambiances of the city and, therefore, spontaneous spectators were welcome to attend the presentation.

The Spring-Summer 2019 collection is characterized by traditional forms, reflective geometric constructions, strong lines, and sharp shoulders. Sophisticated forms, quirky tailoring, and elemental colors are hallmark of the brand. Monochromatic looks, styled by Mauricio Nardi, keep the ensemble of classical suits together and accompanies the character of a modern-day Georgian, that the creative director Irakli Rusadze strived to reflect in fashion.
